End-to-end fund management

Connect marketplace collections, local business payments, FX conversion and international settlement.

The store operates in Brazil, and the funds ultimately still need to serve the local business and be settled outside Brazil. What really needs to be connected are three consecutive tasks:

  1. 01Collect locallyUse an account matching the CNPJ/CPF holder to receive platform sales funds
  2. 02Pay locallyUse BRL to pay for real operating expenses such as warehousing, distribution, customs clearance, etc.
  3. 03Settle internationallyConvert the remaining BRL to USD and settle it to the approved overseas account

A complete funds flow

Collect in BRL. Settle internationally in USD.

Collection, payment, FX conversion, and settlement are all handled in the Merchant Dashboard.

WHY NEXAPAY

Build cross-border fund management capabilities for Chinese companies in Latin America

What we want to build is a cross-border fund management platform that not only complies with local financial rules in Latin America, but also suits the real business methods of Chinese merchants.

Brazil is the first stop. When entering new Latin American markets, we still adhere to the same approach: understand the local accounts, payment networks and foreign exchange rules, and then transform the complex structure into a product that the Chinese team can clearly use.

Common questions

Common questions

Can Brazilian companies directly serve as settlement entities?+

cannot be the entity settled in Brazil’s cross-border collection business. The settled company must be located outside the country of payment, such as mainland China, Hong Kong or Singapore; its relationship with Brazilian CNPJ/CPF, stores and overseas settlement accounts must also be reviewed.

Are local accounts opened by NexaPay?+

No. Accounts are independently approved, opened and maintained by the applicable partner bank or payment institution. NexaPay provides technical interface, data transmission, status communication and operational support.

Which deposit method do platform settlements usually use?+

Local accounts support PIX and TED deposits. Some platforms pay through TED while others may use PIX; the actual method should be subject to the rules displayed in the platform back office at the time.

After receiving BRL, when can I exchange it?+

Once funds are available, exchange can be initiated according to product rules. BRL and USD support 24×7 two-way confirmation. The USD usually arrives on T+1 after the exchange is confirmed successfully.
